UNA were commissioned by the Cheshire Smokehouse to undertake architectural and interior design services to create a new 3-storey wine bar, restaurant and cafe for the 100 yr old Smokehouse business that enjoys a forest edge location, at Vost Farm in Cheshire. 

UNA stripped out and opened up a 3-storey building to create a 'Smokehouse bar'. A dark woodland theme is inspired by the Smokehouse process and forest edge location. Smoke bar represents a new business direction and ambition for the long established family run business.

New wood-burning stoves, a charred Accoya bar, double height dining rooms and even a 100 year old burnt out ash tree, create a unique and engaging setting of darkened interiors and warm lighting.

Smoke opened in November 2018.

In 2021, UNA designed and oversaw the complete rebuild of the front section of the building to create a stunning two storey external seating area overlooking the high street.
